Graeme Black for 1436 Erdos Cashmere - Fashion show

Launching Edinburgh International Fashion Festival 2014, Graeme Black showcased his new collection to an exclusive select audience at The National Museum of Scotland.

Fusing traditional and modern Scottish music with Chinese elements
, the cinematic  soundtrack supported Graeme's mix of styles for this important luxury brand.  Featured  artists such as Spiro, Hidden Orchestra, ONRA, Shigeru Umebayashi and Orla Wren were enriched with atmospheric sounds of the sea, forests and birds.
The evening culminated with a supper soirée at the designer's Edinburgh home, hosted by Chinese Vogue Editor, Angelica Cheung, with ongoing music relating to the show's theme.

Sound Installation collaboration, Gift 10 Vyner Street, London, June 2011
Compiled from the official 2008 UK Anti-Terrorist radio advertising campaigns and Police radio silence, this is a subtle and hidden audio piece that delivers to the visitor in a quiet, secretive, almost clandestine way, subverting the advert's initial message into something that seems fearful and questionable.  With their content being surprisingly inappropriate, condescending and misguided, these adverts were subsequently banned by the Advertising Standards Authority following public complaint, ruling under "Section 2, Rule 9 of the (Broadcast) Radio Advertising Standards Code (Good taste, decency and offence to public feeling)" that they "cannot be used in their current form".
